One of the most common problems business owners face when trying to scale is not having enough leads.

If you don't have enough leads, you aren't hitting your growth goals.

Your irresistible offer or your top 1% fulfilment won't help you grow alone.

You need to become known by more people so you can make more sales.

If no one knows you, then you won't be able to sell them your solution.

Sales is a numbers game, so naturally the simplest way to solve this is to get in front of more people.

And by doing more volume, you’ll close more deals because it is directly related to the number of leads you have.

To get more leads, you need to build a targeted list of contacts directly in your ideal customer profile.

Everyone is always looking for more and better results. For example, someone who knows they can close at 20% and is already working with a lead gen partner, still wants more meetings so they can grow their business. If you can prove to the prospect that your solution (a) can solve their problem or help them hit their goal and (b) get them to believe that your solution works, you’ll have a much better time closing than focusing on how your feature set is slightly different than your competitors.

One of the most common prospect objections I hear on sales calls is: “I don’t want to deal with unqualified leads”

This is completely reasonable because most people would probably prefer to hop on a fully warmed up sales call with a prospect who knows you, trusts you, believes your solution works and is ready to buy now.

The problem is… most people doing cold email are missing three key levers in their process that are preventing them from fully warming their prospects and having the best chance at cold email success.

And if you’ve ever worked with another agency or tried cold email yourself, done a bit of outreach and ended up getting little to no results, I’d be willing to be you probably don’t have at least 1 of these three elements in place.

These are the same three elements that I’ve uncovered after working with 2 dozen B2B businesses and agencies over the last couple years.

They are:

  1. Not using a cold friendly offer

  2. Not using a lead magnet

  3. Not using a VSL

Each of these are so absolutely essential to success with cold email, we’ve seen conversions improve by 3-5x by implementing just the VSL.
