Actionable Cold Email Tip

If you’ve been following my YouTube channel lately, I’ve been dropping some sauce showing how we’ve been getting killer results using the software Clay(.)com.

In a recent training, I do an end to end listbuilding workflow entirely inside of Clay showing exactly how to target best fit companies, score those companies for fit and how to find those leads.

Here’s the plan we cover in the video:

1. Select a company inside Crunchbase - funded in the last 6 months

2. Use the relevant company’s case studies to build a lookalike list

3. Score the accounts in the list based on the company’s ideal fit criteria

4. Find decision maker contacts at the good fit companies

5. Enrich contact data with emails

This training is specifically for B2B SaaS but can be applied to literally any B2B company doing outreach.

• Quick bite-sized pointer: To send 1,000 emails per day, do the following: 10 emails per day per sending inbox, 2 sending inboxes per domain, 50 domains. Here’s how the math fits together: 10 emails x 2 inboxes x 50 domains = 1,000 emails per day. If you book meetings at a rate of 1 per every 1,000 emails, you will book 1 meeting per day.
