Actionable Cold Email Tip
If you don't have a low friction, intro offer optimized for cold traffic, you're going to miss out on a LOT of conversions.
Only 3% of the market is ready to buy your recurring service and 97% are in some other stage of the buyer's journey.
And remember cold traffic doesn't know, like or trust you. They are the most conservative buyers on the planet.
When selling to a cold audience you need to overcome skepticism, you need to build trust and you need to provide the prospect with a valuable potential gain while minimizing their risk.
In other words, you need to make an offer they would be silly saying no.
I've recently been pitching an intro offer, and have started closing new clients on the intro offer, validating my thesis.
I want to share a couple tips so you can make your own intro offer to start closing more clients.
To build your own intro offer, first consider these three questions:
Do they want the outcome you’re selling?
Do they think they will actually get it?
Do they think it is a ‘fair’ deal or a ‘bargain’?
If yes, you're on the right track.
Then use the following checklist to create a bullet proof intro offer.
Intro Offer Checklist
Make them money or save them time
Measurable or tangible deliverables
100x ROI potential
Completely eliminates five types of risk
Financial risk (fee)
Financial Risk (you screwing it up)
Time & Effort Risk (fixing your screw up)
Reputation Risk (consequences of you screwing it up)
Ego Risk (trying and failing)
Productized
Fulfilled at $250/hour or more.
Once you’ve created your offer, send traffic to it via cold email, content and other paid media.
Not every offer is going to be a homerun off the bat, so expect to test at least a couple different offers when you’re first getting started.

Quick bite-sized pointer: The simplest way to get better results with cold email is to first make sure your offer and targeting are aligned. Once you’ve achieve message market fit, then add AI personalizations. Think about it like this: if you hit the prospect with a bad offer, a bit of personalization isn’t going to move the needle. If the offer is hot, and your prospect is the right persona, they will get back to you all day. Start by nailing your message market fit. Do this by evaluating your campaign against your lead to meeting ratio. Only once you’ve achieved a lead to meeting ratio of 1:1,000 (1 meeting for every 1,000 prospects), begin to add personalizations.
