Actionable Cold Email Tip

Building a business is as simple as acquiring a client, delivering exceptional results and then converting those results into a case study to help acquire more clients. Then rinse and repeat this process.

If you can do this in perpetuity, then it’s almost impossible to not grow.

The key is it’s simple…. not easy.

A client and I have been working together for the last 3 months and closed 3 deals together (with more in the pipeline) totaling over $135k in revenue generated. Not bad ROI for 3 months worth of work.

I’m currently working on converting it into a case study to leverage in my go to market.

A high impact case study is like the Chef's knife of the cold email campaign. They are tremendously versatile and can be used in many different ways. There’s really no bad way to use a case study, like a chef’s knife.

Use your case study as part of your initial outreach, appointment setting process and long term nurture email flows.

Once you build it once, you can repurpose your case studies as assets on social media, a YouTube videos, and on your website.

A good case study always shows a specific and quantifiable result and should include a headline like:

How We Achieved {RESULT} for {CLIENT} in {TIME} without {ICKY THING}

The best case studies demonstrate how you helped your customer go from icky bad state to ideal dream state and provide the step by step process for which you've generated results.

Having an arsenal of these assets illustrate to your prospects that not only are you able to generate results for someone who looks like them, but also helps give them more context on your process.

I’ve been using case studies in my flows across clients and they have had a measurable 2x increase in conversions of lookalike audiences.
