  • Quick bite-sized pointer: I recently implemented Company Standards for myself and team to drive better results. The result? It immediately caused ripples. Some on the team embraced the change and were eager to implement the new accountability measures. Others were unwilling to make the change and ultimately left. This gave me a revelation. The A-players will do what is required to get the job done. B and C players will only do what is required to keep their job. No hate to anyone in the B and C buckets, but I personally want to surround myself with winners. Raise your standard and pull the rest of your team up. A players will figure it out, B & C will fall by the wayside.
